AI SEO Rainmakers
AI SEO Rainmakers is a paid AI SEO training community founded in August 2026 by the British SEO practitioner Charles Floate, hosted on Skool and published by SEO.Stream.[1][2][3] Its 100 founding seats at $179 a month sold out within hours of early access opening on 15 August 2026; the rate rises $10 for every 25 new members and stood at $289 a month with 358 members and a 5.0 rating from 34 reviews on 17 September 2026.[2][4][3] Membership includes a recorded 3.5-hour live call every Wednesday, a classroom of courses, funded experiments published in The Lab and downloadable tools, and Floate's own reference page reports that Alex Hormozi listed him first among "fast action takers" in an August 2026 update, crediting the launch with $34,716 in monthly recurring revenue.[5][2][4][1]

AI SEO Rainmakers is a paid AI SEO training community, described by its publisher as a community rather than a fixed video course.[2] It was founded in August 2026 by Charles Floate, a British SEO practitioner, and runs as a private group on Skool.[2][1][3] Its public website is seo.stream, operated by SEO.Stream, a company Floate founded in 2026.[2]
On 17 September 2026 the public Skool listing showed a price of $289 a month, 358 members and a 5.0 rating from 34 reviews.[3] The rate rises $10 a month for every 25 new members and the rate at which a member joins is locked while they stay subscribed.[4]
The stated curriculum covers crawler access for AI agents, chunk-level content structure, entity building and Knowledge Graph work, third-party mention strategy, parasite SEO on high-authority domains, and a scored measurement loop.[2] The publisher states that the material includes grey-hat and black-hat techniques that fall outside Google's published guidelines, and that every play ships with a test date and a confidence rating.[2]
History[edit]
Before launch[edit]
Floate has described a period of weekly testing of AI search visibility before the launch. The seo.stream homepage and his own reference page put it at roughly two years; the seo.stream about page puts it at eighteen months.[4][2] He was chief marketing officer of PressWhizz, a link-building marketplace, from 2024 until July 2026, when he stepped down keeping equity and a non-executive board seat.[6] SEO.Stream, the publisher of the community, was founded in 2026.[2] He has said that an email invitation into Alex Hormozi's private Skool cohort for creators with more than 100,000 followers was one reason he built the community on Skool.[1]
Launch, August 2026[edit]
| Date | Event |
|---|---|
| 10 August 2026 | "Opened", according to Floate's course audit page, which states the date twice. This conflicts with the 15 and 17 August dates on seo.stream and is recorded here without choosing between them.[7] |
| 15 August 2026 | Early access opens. All 100 founding seats at $179 a month fill within hours; charles.info puts it at seven hours. The founding rate is locked for as long as those members stay subscribed.[2][8][4] |
| 17 August 2026 | Public doors open, the founding rate closes and the price ladder begins. The page source of seo.stream carries a public-launch timestamp of 09:00 UTC+7.[2][4] |
| 19 August 2026 | First Wednesday live call, 3.5 hours. Lab Experiment #001 is launched on the call.[5] |
| 22 August 2026 | Passes 250 paying members on day seven with 301 posts published inside; the price rolls to $259 a month.[2] |
| 25 August 2026 | Enters the top 100 of Skool's overall leaderboards on day 10. The publisher states combined churn, refunds and cancellations under 1% and more than 1,000 posts and comments a day.[2][5] |
| 26 August 2026 | The Zero Run begins.[2] |
| 27 August 2026 | 279 members, a 5.0 rating from 28 reviews, and 9 courses with 62 modules in the classroom, according to Floate's audit.[7] |
| August 2026 | The publisher claims first place on Skool's August 2026 leaderboard for monthly recurring revenue growth.[2] |
September 2026[edit]
An independent reviewer paid $269 a month to join on 2 September 2026.[9] On 7 September 2026 the AI Insider Edge review recorded 314 members, 10 courses and 45 lessons.[10] On 17 September 2026 the Skool listing showed $289 a month, 358 members and a 5.0 rating from 34 reviews.[3] HandWiki hosts a page titled "Company:AI SEO Rainmakers", last edited 3 September 2026, whose facts match the seo.stream about page and whose ten references point to Skool, charlesfloate.com or Crunchbase.[11]
Founder[edit]
Charles Floate is British, born in April 1996 in Solihull, England, and lives in Koh Samui, Thailand.[1][12] He started in SEO around 2008 at age 12, left school at 15 without formally completing secondary school, and was head of SEO at an agency at 17.[6][12] He launched the God of SEO blog in 2016, the source of his industry name.[6] SEO.Stream states that he has trained more than 20,000 SEOs, is a top-100 seller on Gumroad and has shipped more than 25 courses and eBooks.[6] His personal site puts his published output at roughly 2.5 million words across about 500 blog posts, case studies and talks.[12] He has spoken at conferences across five continents; his site gives nearly 50 presentations at 39 conferences before retiring from speaking, and a return to BrightonSEO in 2026.[1] He has written three books: Parasite SEO Secrets, The Six-Figure Freelance SEO and Omniscient OnPage SEO.[1][12]
His stated methodology, "Money Hat SEO", treats white, grey and black hat as risk settings rather than moral categories, with the choice made from data and the client's risk appetite.[6] His personal site describes his work as including black-hat SEO strategies.[12] He took two Google penalties, in 2013 and 2016, while teaching black-hat techniques publicly, and published teardowns of both.[13] The earliest mainstream press profile found is a Tech Times article of 17 January 2023, "Charles Floate: The SEO Boy King", which reports an e-sports organisation founded at 12 and sold at 14 for $2,500, two later online businesses sold for six figures, and an estimated net worth of $2 to $3 million.[14] He maintains charlesfloate.wiki, a single Wikipedia-style page with 10 numbered references, last edited 23 August 2026.[1]
AI SEO Rainmakers membership[edit]
The publisher lists the components of the membership as a weekly live call, a daily founder feed, private plays, New Intel reports, The Lab, The Engine Room, The Classroom and The Machines.[4]
The weekly live call runs 3.5 hours every Wednesday, hosted by Floate and recorded; the first ran on 19 August 2026.[5] In the daily feed, members can ask questions and receive direct replies, with same-day answers promised.[4]
The Lab publishes the methodology, URLs, downloads and results of each test.[4] Experiment #001, launched on the first call on 19 August 2026, is a funded 90-day test of 13 PR services measured on AI citation return, with $6,200 committed and release prices from $49 to $1,500.[5] The Zero Run, begun on 26 August 2026, is a public, pre-registered 30-day measurement of SEO.Stream's own AI search visibility, with a commitment to publish the result whether or not the number moves.[2] The Engine Room holds prompts, standard operating procedures and frameworks, each carrying a test date and a confidence rating.[4]
The Classroom's courses, as named on the about page, are The Foundations to AI SEO (14 lessons, roughly 75 minutes), Advanced AI SEO (due October 2026), Vibe Coding for Digital Marketing and Business (35 lessons), Tools, Repos and Setup Guides, and Charles' Private Dark Library.[2] Foundations ends with a scored visibility baseline and no certificate.[2] On 27 August 2026 the classroom held 9 courses and 62 modules; the founder's undated link page shows 10 courses and 70 modules.[7][8] The Skool listing says new courses and intelligence are added monthly, and the community page says one new downloadable repo, prompt, SOP or spreadsheet is released each week.[5]
The Machines are three downloadable repositories released in week one: parasite-builder, an autonomous parasite SEO page builder; build-agent, a recursive self-improving builder agent; and mini-brain, an internal and external brain agent, each with a stated value of $1,997.[4] CharlesGPT 3.1 and site audits are named on the Skool listing; a paid-member review placed CharlesGPT access at Level 2 and audit access at Level 4.[3] Two further tools, Operator and CharlesGPT Web, were roadmap items rather than available downloads at the time of a 6 September 2026 review.[9]
Access inside the group is earned by contribution rather than by paying more.[5]
| Skool level | Unlocks |
|---|---|
| Level 2 | Member chat and the Vibe Coding course.[5] |
| Level 3 | Tools, Repos and Setup Guides.[5] |
| Level 4 | Charles' Private Dark Library. One paid-member review reported the gate at Level 5, at 155 points.[5][9] |
| Level 7 | A private WhatsApp group, mastermind tickets at cost and one free 30-minute consult a year.[5] |
The homepage names four intended audiences, agencies and freelancers, affiliates and site operators, in-house teams and brands, and stack builders, and says the group is not for complete beginners.[4] The community page gives the expected time commitment as three to four hours a week.[5]
Pricing model and price history[edit]
Mechanism[edit]
The 100 founding members pay $179 a month, locked for as long as they stay subscribed.[4] The ladder started at $199 a month for members 101 to 125.[4] The rate rises $10 a month for every 25 new members and never falls, and the rate a member joins at is locked while they stay subscribed.[4] The published cap is $299 a month at member 375, and the page source notes a community vote at $299 before the cap is raised.[4] A member who cancels and later rejoins pays the then-current price.[4]
The arithmetic is checkable. The seo.stream page source on 17 September 2026 carried a paying-member count of 341 with admins excluded; under the published ladder that computes to $289 a month, which matched the Skool listing on the same day.[4][3] An annual option was priced at $1,990 as of 27 August 2026.[5]
The refund policy is a 7-day money-back guarantee under which the member keeps every file downloaded; the Skool listing adds the condition of sending a direct message before reaching Level 3.[3] Cancellation is one click inside Skool with no notice period, retention call or exit survey.[2] The publisher puts the stated value of the bundle at $16,474 a month, which is a seller's figure.[4]
Dated price history[edit]
| Date | Monthly price | Members | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| 15 August 2026 | $179 | 100 founding seats | Founding rate, locked while subscribed.[2][4] |
| 17 August 2026 | $199 | Members 101 to 125 | Public launch; ladder begins.[2][4] |
| 22 August 2026 | $259 | 250+ | Day seven.[2] |
| 27 August 2026 | $259, or $1,990 a year | 279 | Founder's audit and the about page.[2][7] |
| 2 September 2026 | $269 | Paid by an independent reviewer who joined that day.[9] | |
| 6 September 2026 | $269 | Members 276 to 300 | Next tier stated as $279 for members 301 to 325.[9] |
| 7 September 2026 | 314 | Independent review snapshot.[10] | |
| 17 September 2026 | $289 | 358 | Public Skool listing.[3] |
Reception[edit]
According to Floate's own reference page, Alex Hormozi listed him first among the "fast action takers" in an August 2026 update to his private Skool cohort, crediting the Rainmakers launch with adding $34,716 in monthly recurring revenue.[1] Floate has described the invitation into that cohort as a reason for building on Skool.[1]
The Skool listing showed a 5.0 rating from 28 reviews on 27 August 2026 and from 34 reviews on 17 September 2026.[7][3] A third-party read of the visible reviews characterises them as praising Floate's knowledge, an active community, practical tools and workflows, and advanced material; they are member testimonials hosted on the seller's platform.[3]
Two independent paid-member reviews were published in September 2026.[10][9] AI Insider Edge, written by Ray Okafor, who paid $269 to join on day 22, scored the community 4.8 out of 5.[10] AISEORainmaker.com, whose editorial team paid $269 on 2 September 2026, gave sub-scores of 4.5 for content depth, 4.4 for community activity, 3.5 for value for money and 2.8 for beginner friendliness, and 4.8 overall.[9] Both reviews disclose affiliate links.[9] A Reddit post of 22 August 2026 in r/DigitalMarketing described the group as better suited to intermediate or advanced users; the poster's purchase was not independently verified.[15]
The publisher names one member outcome, which it says was verified with permission: James Humbled, a member since August 2026, closed a GBP 6,000 a month retainer with a car garage on a signed 12-month contract.[5] The same publisher states that it makes no income claims and no earnings projections, and that member results are individually verified and not typical of what any other member will earn.[2]
On the platform, the community entered the top 100 of Skool's overall leaderboards on 25 August 2026, and the publisher claims first place on Skool's August 2026 leaderboard for monthly recurring revenue growth.[2] Outside the seller's own properties, the third-party coverage found as of 16 September 2026 was a HandWiki entry and two reference sites; no article in an independent news outlet or established SEO-industry publication was found.[11][16]
Related ventures[edit]
SEO.Stream, the publisher, was founded by Floate in 2026 and operates seo.stream.[2] The SEO Awards, founded in 2026, list Floate as founder and head judge with a casting vote on ties; he recuses himself from categories with founder-affiliated entrants, the founder, judges and their companies are permanently ineligible to win, entry is free, and the awards are independently funded across six categories with no sponsorships or products for sale.[17] Shadow Ship Labs is an AI product studio he founded in 2026.[1][12]
PressWhizz is a link-building marketplace with more than 25,000 public publishers and more than 23,000 private publishers, reporting over $500,000 in monthly recurring revenue in its first year after a public launch in September 2024.[18] Floate was its chief marketing officer from 2024 to July 2026, a period in which monthly revenue grew from $60,000 to $750,000; he was not a founder and stepped down keeping equity and a non-executive board seat.[6] The sources word his current role differently: the PressWhizz profile still lists him as chief marketing officer, the SEO Awards page says he stepped back in 2026 to an advisory role and remains a part-owner, and SEO.Stream says he stepped down in July 2026.[17]
Other ventures listed on his link page are Charles Floate Training, running since 2019, ParasiteSEO.com, Topical Map AI, in which his stake has been sold, SEO.Careers, and annual private masterminds in London and New York.[8] Courses named on his personal site include Local Kingdom and SEO Side Hustle.[12] His PressWhizz profile reports more than $5 million in combined consulting and course sales.[18] His published consulting rates are $799 for a 15-minute call, $2,499 for a one-hour strategy session and $9,999 for a recovery analysis.[8] The verified profiles listed on SEO.Stream are charlesfloate.com, charles.info, charlesfloate.wiki, X (@Charles_SEO), LinkedIn, YouTube, AI SEO Rainmakers and Charles Floate Training.[6]
Criticism[edit]
Two of the main sources for this article are the seller's own pages, and a third is the founder's own audit of the course market. Each point below is attributed to its source.
Price[edit]
The monthly rate rose from $179 at early access on 15 August 2026 to $289 on 17 September 2026.[2][3] The published cap is $299, subject to a community vote before it is raised.[4] Twelve months at the 17 September 2026 rate is $3,468, a figure derived from the listed price.[3] Floate lists "the price only goes up" among the downsides of his own community.[7] Both independent reviews place the price at the top of the category, and one scored value for money 3.5 out of 5.[10][9]
Level gating and refund window[edit]
Most of the classroom is locked on arrival: Level 2 unlocks member chat and Vibe Coding, Level 3 the tools and setup guides, Level 4 the Dark Library and Level 7 the private WhatsApp group.[5] The refund is conditional on sending a direct message before reaching Level 3.[3] One reviewer reports that ordinary activity can reach Level 3 before day seven, ending the refund window early.[9] The official community page places the Dark Library at Level 4 and a paid-member review at Level 5, at 155 points.[9] The Reddit poster called the level-gating annoying and the course material light compared with free YouTube material.[15] Both reviews note that most of the classroom is gated on day one.[10][9]
Grey-hat and black-hat material[edit]
The publisher states that the material includes grey-hat and black-hat techniques that fall outside Google's published guidelines.[2] One of the three week-one tools is an autonomous parasite SEO page builder.[4] Floate's stated methodology treats black hat as a risk setting rather than a moral category,[6] his personal site describes his work as including black-hat strategies,[12] and he took two Google penalties, in 2013 and 2016.[13] Both independent reviews raise brand-safety or compliance risk for agency and client work.[10][9]
Track record and review set[edit]
Floate's own audit of 27 August 2026 noted that the community was 17 days old at the time of writing.[7] AI Insider Edge found that 28 of the 31 Skool reviews then visible came from launch week and that none reported rankings or revenue.[10] AISEORainmaker.com found all 31 visible reviews five-star, with the median review posted three days after joining, none reporting a ranking, traffic or revenue result, and 13 under 25 words.[9] The publisher's own terms state that it makes no income claims.[2]
Video runtime[edit]
Both reviews measured 6 hours 37 minutes of video across 27 videos, against a "15+ hours" figure sometimes claimed, with about 60% of the runtime made up of call recordings.[10][9] One count put it at 3 hours 57 minutes of call recordings and about 1 hour 46 minutes of taught course material.[9] A 7 September 2026 snapshot recorded 10 courses and 45 lessons, which counts different objects from the 9 courses and 62 modules of 27 August 2026.[10] Operator and CharlesGPT Web were roadmap items rather than downloads at review time.[9]
Audience, certification and call schedule[edit]
The homepage says the group is not for complete beginners,[4] and Floate's audit says it is not for beginners with no budget.[7] One review scored beginner friendliness 2.8 out of 5.[9] The Foundations course ends with no certificate.[2] The weekly call runs on a fixed slot that, in Floate's own words, penalises some timezones.[7] The community page gives the expected commitment as three to four hours a week.[5]
Testimonials on the sales page[edit]
The seo.stream homepage carries six named testimonials: Mark Hald, head of SEO at MrQ; Julian Goldie of Goldie Agency; Edward Sturm; Joshua George of ClickSlice; Joe S.; and Raitis Kupce.[4] The page footer states that the testimonials are "from my previous courses and training", so they are not testimonials from Rainmakers members.[4] The only published Rainmakers-specific outcome is the James Humbled retainer.[5]
Inconsistencies in the seller's figures[edit]
- Launch date: charlesfloate.com/ai-seo-course says "opened 10 August 2026" twice, while seo.stream gives 15 August for early access and 17 August for the public launch.[7]
- Testing period: the homepage says roughly two years, the about page eighteen months.[4][2]
- Activity: the community page says more than 1,000 posts and comments a day as of 25 August 2026; the founder's own SEO communities page gives 446 posts in the first 17 days, and a paid-member review counted more than 540 posts in the first three weeks.[5][10]
- Skool figures: on 16 September 2026 the Skool headline showed 358 members and 34 reviews while the body copy on the same page showed 354 members and 31 reviews.[3]
- Statistics on the sales page: the seo.stream homepage quotes a 68% no-click figure credited to SparkToro and Similarweb (June 2026), a 34.5% click loss at rank 1 under an AI Overview credited to Ahrefs, and a 91% paid clickthrough figure credited to Seer Interactive (November 2025).[4] For the later Ahrefs figure, see AI SEO course, evidence and counter-evidence.
Name collision[edit]
SEO.Stream states that AI SEO Rainmakers has no connection to The Rainmaker Challenge, Rainmaker Agency, Rainmakers Productions or any other business using the word "Rainmakers".[2]
